Part of the Church of England Parish of ‘Dacre with Hartwith and Darley with Thornthwaite’ Christ Church enjoys a mixed congregation of all ages. We meet in the morning twice each month at 9.30am - on the First Sunday of the month for Holy Communion with the Junior Church moving into the Hall for the first half of the service and we rejoin one another at the Peace to share in Holy Communion; and on the Third Sunday of each month we remain all-together for an All-Age Family Service. There is a quieter evening Holy Communion at 6.30pm on the Second Sunday of each month.

Half of the Christ Church building is the ‘Christ Church Community Centre’, a newly built and equipped community led project offering groups, clubs, activities, health and educational opportunities for all manner of tastes ( See LINKS ). The Centre provides an excellent venue for birthdays and celebrations, and together with the Church space offers a beautiful opportunity for Quiet Days and parish Away-Days.

The church building and the centre are each equipped with Induction Loop systems.
